ATOMIC — Factory Tour Campaign

Brand Awareness Through Production

We were approached by ATOMIC to create a concept for a one of a kind video, celebrating the legendary Redster racing ski. Goal of the video: show every step of the production process in an engaging and interesting way. Wildcard: we had to integrate some of the most famous athletes in the world. Side note, these guys are kind of busy, so you only have one shot. The result? Brand awareness and lots of buzz.

Concept Process

The briefing was to create a video for brand heat and awareness for Redster. The add-on was 15 minutes with most of the world's ski stars. Rather than filming a typical interview, we decided to actually us the athletes on the factory floor. Before we knew it, Marcel Hirscher and Mikaela Shiffrin were learning real factory processes from the workers. The result is a video as sleek as the skis made in it.

Production Technique

With the right equipment, team on site and talent involved, we pulled off this production within one day. Taking advantage of the specialized camera equipment that mirrored the flow of both the factory floor and the skis. Keeping true to the brand identity, we wanted to showcase the quality behind the creation of every single ski and tell a true story of how the skis start their life and end up in your hands.
